Clap de fin des vendanges 2025 Domaine A Deux: this year’s harvest took place in excellent conditions. We started on August 27 with the young Sauvignon vines, then continued with the old vines, notably the Chardonnay and Sauvignon. A short pause in the whites was necessary, as the Pinot Noir and Gamay had reached perfect ripeness and were harvested without delay. Harvesting of the whites then resumed with the chenin, whose natural acidity was well preserved thanks to ideal harvest timing.
We finished by pressing the Cabernet Franc destined for our rosé, followed by the last parcel of Côt. All in all, the harvest was fine, with a very satisfactory state of health. We deliberately started a little earlier this year, to better control acidity and preserve the freshness of the vintage.
The 2025 Domaine A Deux harvest has come to an end, and it’s time to turn to the cellar. The full analysis will come after vinification, and we’ll then share our first impressions of this vintage, which we feel is very promising.
